The epic battle continues in the East/West challenge. Who will take the belt this year? Lethbridge, Coalhurst and Medicine Hat BMX clubs will all compete for the title this season. This year's race begins in Lethbridge on May 29th. Registration from 1:00 to 2:00, racing begins at 3:00. Sunday moves to Medicine Hat with registration from 11:00 to 12:00 and racing at 1:00pm
The Alberta Summer Games will be held in the Peace River region this year. If you want to attend as a Zone 1 athlete you must qualify and this race is your only chance to do it. The BMX competition at the games hosts male riders aged 12-16
and female riders aged 11-15. Each zone sends 3 males and 3 females
The qualifier is held in conjunction with the Lethbridge Hurricane Alley race on May 29th. What this means is there is ONE race that serves
TWO purposes. There will NOT be two seperate races on May 29th. If you want to qualify for the games you must
race the Hurricane Alley Lethbridge race.

Lethbridge BMX played host to the largest Provincial Finals and Championships races in recent times and the racing was awesome! So many Lethbridge riders did great we don't even have room here to list them all.
Congratulations to all the Lethbridge racers who competed, you rocked! A big thanks also goes out to the tireless volunteers, the sponsors and donations. Everyone came together to make the event a huge success and even mother nature co-operated. Now if we could only find that nasty wasps nest (or nests). To see the results of both days races and the overall series standings head on over to the

great charity race on Saturday. They deserve it....this year.
Also, best wishes and prayers go out to our own Kyle Van Ee who was hurt on Saturday
