For 2007 we will use the ABA Regional Points format as follows:

If you race in a higher class (e.g. you're a 10 Novice and you have to race with 10 Experts) due to lack of riders in your own class, you will be awarded the higher points.

To move up from Novice to Intermediate for all BOY'S classes you need 10 first place finishes as a Novice in your BMX career. A first place finish is an overall finish for that particular race night/day and not simply just one race. If you have been racing for 4 years and finally got your 10th first place finish as a Novice, you will be responsible to move up to the Intermediate.

To move up from Intermediate to Expert for all BOY'S classes you need 25 first place finishes as an Intermediate in your BMX career. A first place finish is an overall finish for that particular race night/day and not simply just one race. If you have been racing for 4 years and finally got your 25th first place finish as an Intermediate, you will be responsible to move up to the Expert.

To move up from Novice to Expert for all GIRL'S classes you need 25 first place finishes as a Novice in your BMX career. A first place finish is an overall finish for that particular race night/day and not simply just one race. If you have been racing for 4 years and finally got your 25th first place finish as a Novice, you will be responsible to move up to the Expert. There is no Intermediate class for Girls.

Detailed Results

Please note that the detailed results pages show points that are different than what you see on the overall points to date. The detailed results points were only used to determine that racers placing for that race (e.g. 3 firsts in 3 motos would be shown as 3 points). Each overall placing for each race is awarded points as per the chart at the top of this page. If you believe there is an error please email us here and let us know

Top 10 Total Points 2007 Final Results

"Combined" means 2 classes are raced (20" and Cruiser) but only one class counts per race towards TOP 10 TOTAL POINTS.

If a rider races 2 classes in any one particular race the higher result will be used for that race towards top 10 total points.
However, points will be awarded for both towards the class points.
For example, on Tuesday April 2nd a rider races 10 Expert and gets a 2nd for that night and also races 12 and Under Cruiser and places 1st for the same night. That rider would get 2nd place points for 10 Expert Overall and 1st place points towards 12 and Under cruiser, but would only get the first place points (from the cruiser class) towards the TOP 10 OVERALL points

We will not be tracking firsts for riders that are already ranked as Experts
